Position Info:

  • Work Location:  Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)
  • Position Schedule:  ASAP, 1 year renewable

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:                Higher education
  • Work Experience:   Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in Oil & Gas industry
  • Knowledge of Languages:    English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent)

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of construction and installation processes/phases during project planning and execution;
  • Capability to control, calibrate and adjust tools, instruments and other measuring and testing devices used in activities affecting Quality. Capability to protect the instrumentation from damage or deterioration during handling or maintenance;
  • Knowledge and experience gained during design, installation and construction with main Industry standards applicable for business of reference;
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards to approach correctly to all quality matters;
  • Knowledge of piping, engines, fluid machines and mechanical operation activities;
  • Knowledge of advanced NDT technologies. Capability to manage and monitor all NDT activities in laboratories and /or project/site and to implement Innovative Methods and Alternative Methods to replace wherever possible ionizing radiation. Capability to check the calibration of NDT instruments and certification validity;
  • Capability to provide the coordination of the project Quality activities implementation through Quality Plan, Quality Control Plan and Project Quality Procedures, guaranteeing compliance with contractual requirements and ISO Standards;
  • Knowledge of Quality Control principles, supervision topics and functions. Capability to apply Quality Control Plans;
  • Capability to plan, execute, report inspection and test according to Quality Control Plan;
  • Capability to plan, schedule, allocate Quality personnel to various duties and/or projects and interface with HR Department for personnel mobilization;
  • Capability to coordinate Quality personnel activity;
  • Capability to document Quality activities through regular reports and to update the Quality Database with the relevant information;
  • Capability to train all personnel about Quality issues management and methodologies and to implement the training programs;
  • Capability to interface the Subcontractors, managing the contract and the development of the activities;
  • Knowledge of welding processes, capability to notice possible welding defects, capability to use test and measuring instruments and monitor any repairs to faulty welds.
