Responsible for marketing the brand within specific channels or trade channels. Manages the development of effective marketing strategies to drive sales and increase profitability within these channels.
Description
- Prepares trade promotional plan in designated channels targeting crucial customers.
- Collaborates with sales teams to turn “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively present brands, products and marketing initiatives to customers.
- Manages and monitors current promotion processes and reviews their effectiveness with regard to price, proposition and sales turnover.
Channel Management
- Establishes channel strategies and executes associated plans.
- Leads retail channel’s trade marketing strategy development to accomplish defined business objectives across product categories.
- Is closely involved in new product launches to ensure channel coverage and display share ratio supports new initiatives.
Management
- Contributes to the organization’s goals and objectives and enhances market share and sales performance.
- Leads Trade Marketing Strategy development to attain defined business objectives across product categories focusing on related parties.
- Data validation: Controls the correctness and validity of data provided in the market.
- Collaborates with product managers and marketing team to build sales promotions and product communications.
- Manages point of sale materials (including budget, logistics, distribution, assortment) by finding the most efficient solutions.
- Briefs and manages internal and external agencies.
- Devises, implements and monitors the success of BTL activities, especially with respect to ongoing sales. Ensures all promotional and BTL activities support company goals and objectives.
Budget controlling & ROI
- Primarily responsible for managing and monitoring Trade Marketing Investments as well as initiating execution.
- Ensures efficient spending of central budget and supervises the trade marketing spending in the subsidiary.
- Formulates project and budget plans for all events using appropriate cost controls, liaising with all relevant parties.
- Conducts monthly promoter sell-out evaluation from given targets and monthly sell-out performance tracking for each store.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (such as Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Product Marketing)
- Strong strategic thinking abilities
- Analytical Skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with effective time management
- Ability to work with different cultures (experience in multinational organizations is a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of English both written & verbal
- MS Office programs knowledge required
