Position Info:
Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)
Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year (renewable)
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics
Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in ship construction and maintenance activities
Knowledge of Languages: English (intermediate), Azerbaijani (fluent)
Skills / Abilities:
- Possess ample knowledge and experience in electrical equipment on-board vessels.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement the electrical maintenance;
- Monitor and ensure control of electrical equipment according to safety procedures;
- Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose vessels upgrade and maintenance schedule;
- Propose to own superior the required quantity of material stock levels in order to maintain work continuity;
- Respect of HSE and Quality procedures and practices;
- Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices;
- Ensure the efficiency of the electrical equipment;
- Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior within his/her technical capabilities.
